Postgraduate Diploma in Quality Assurance in Higher Education
The University of Lusaka designed this Postgraduate Diploma to complement our passion for quality education. Quality assurance mechanisms and systems need to be designed and implemented in order to ensure that students receive high quality and relevant education and training and that degrees and diplomas offered are widely recognised. Academic quality includes learning, teaching and assessment, and all the different resources and processes an institution puts in place to help students progress and fulfil their potential. With the current multiplicity of both public and private higher education institutions and globalisation, it is necessary to develop a cadre of staff that will drive the quality assurance agenda. Pursing this programme will allow you to succeed in the Quality Assurance departments of any Higher Learning Institution.
Minimum Entry Requirements
As a general rule, applicants for Postgraduate Diploma must hold a good first Degree in the relevant field of their desired studies or acceptable professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ACA, inter alia. However, a tentative separate system of entry requirements may be devised, in the discretion of the Senate, should an exceptionally deserving case of application arise.
