The Bachelor of Science in Economies and Finance has a rare Combination of courses in economics and finance. The programme has been designed to provide the economic reasoning, quantitative skills and institutional knowledge required by economists to solve practical problems. The degree offers the students an opportunity to combine in-depth studies in economics and finance. It provides students with the analytical tools from the fields of Mathematics, Statistics, Economies and Econometrics together with the institutional knowledge required to work as an economists and financial analysts. The graduates will have opportunities to work at all levels of local and central governments as well as non-profit and international organisations such as the World Bank (WBL, Africa Development Bank (ADB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Upon completion of this degree programme, students are able to be effective and practical problem-solvers to employ the knowledge that they attained during their studies to enrich the economy.
Five (5) O-Level credits or better; these must include English Language and Mathematics.
The course study shall be completed in a period of four (years). You can pursue the course under: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Long Distance learning.
