Master of Arts in Peace and Security Studies

The Master of Peace and Security Studies (MPCS) focuses on the pivotal role that individuals within civil society play and the potential of civil society to advance peace through principled advocacy, effective programming, and dynamic engagement with the state and marketplace. The MPCS program allows students to tailor their degree to meet their exact needs and allow them to fulfil their passions. The MPCS program is comprised of coursework and Independent Research. This programme is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to contribute to nonviolent peacebuilding efforts.

As a general rule, applicants for Masters Programmes must hold a good first Degree in the relevant field of their desired studies or acceptable professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, ACA, inter alia. However, a tentative separate system of entry requirements may be devised, in the discretion of the Senate, should an exceptionally deserving case of application arise.
