The course has been designed to enable a student to understand and solve problems of land-use allocation, appraisal and management. There is a strong emphasis on legal and development issues. The course introduces modules covering law, valuation, property development, business management, economics, technology services, mapping and surveying; and marketing and management. Graduates will have a thorough knowledge of the entire building process as well as a broad understanding of environmental and planning procedures. This programme also churns out graduates who will be able to work as real estate agents, property valuators and real estate facilities managers, after attaining recognition from the appropriate professional board. If land, property and the operations and maintenance of it intrigues you, then pursuing this degree at the University of Lusaka would be highly recommended for you.
Five (5) O-Level credits or better; these must include English Language and Mathematics.
The course study shall be completed in a period of four (years). You can pursue the course under: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Long Distance learning.
